Youth Dies in Raymah After Dispute Escalates to Stick Fight

A young man has died in the Raymah governorate following a dispute that escalated into a physical altercation involving sticks. The incident occurred in a village within the Houthi-controlled province.

Local sources identified the deceased as Mousa Hafizullah Saad Musleh, a resident of the Aola area in Bani Al-Dhubaibi. He succumbed to injuries sustained during a confrontation with another local man, identified as Hamid Al-Sabti.

The dispute reportedly began as a minor disagreement between the two individuals before rapidly escalating into a violent encounter. The altercation involved the use of sticks, resulting in severe injuries to Musleh, which ultimately proved fatal.

This incident occurs amidst a reported increase in violence and community disputes in several governorates under Houthi control. These events have fueled calls for strengthening the rule of law and mitigating the rise of crime and violent acts.
