National Resistance Forces Down Houthi Attack Drone in Taiz

National Resistance forces successfully intercepted and downed a Houthi combat drone on Friday evening as it attempted to conduct surveillance over military positions in the Al-Zariqa front of Taiz Governorate.

According to the military media wing of the National Resistance, soldiers from the 24th Infantry Brigade, also known as the 7th Republican Guards, identified the unmanned aerial vehicle as it encroached upon the airspace above their defensive lines. The troops engaged the drone immediately, effectively neutralizing the threat.

The military source indicated that the interception occurred against a backdrop of intensified hostilities in the region. The engagement followed heavy clashes between the brigade and Houthi militants, during which the militia reportedly suffered significant losses in both personnel and equipment.
