Sanaa Tribes Mobilize in Marib to Support Anti-Houthi Operations
Tribal leaders from Hamdan, Sanhan, Bani Bahlul, Bilad Al-Rus, Bani Al-Harith, and Bani Hushish have declared a general mobilization in Marib Governorate to bolster government forces and the Popular Resistance in the ongoing "Yemen Dawn" operation.
The coalition of tribes stated that the mobilization aims to restore state institutions and reclaim territories currently held by Houthi forces. Representatives emphasized their commitment to providing both human and material resources to support military efforts, while calling upon other Yemeni tribes to unify their ranks against the Houthi movement.
In addition to their military support, the tribal leaders issued an urgent appeal to the Yemeni government and political leadership. They demanded increased financial and military aid for the front lines in Taiz, citing a perceived lack of support from both the state and the international coalition. The tribes underscored the necessity of providing arms and equipment to break the siege on the governorate and complete its liberation.
Furthermore, the tribal leadership formally condemned recent Houthi attacks targeting civilian infrastructure and facilities. The statement specifically denounced strikes against civilian sites in Yemen and Saudi Arabia, including the attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
