Houthi Attacks on Mocha Port Kill 7, Injure 15 Civilians and Military Personnel

Seven people, including four military personnel and three civilians, were killed and 15 others injured in a series of Houthi missile and drone attacks targeting the port of Mocha and other civilian and military sites along the West Coast.

The National Resistance's military media reported that air defense units successfully intercepted and downed 11 Houthi drones involved in the offensive, which commenced Sunday afternoon. The attacks specifically targeted the port of Mocha and surrounding areas.

Military sources indicated that security and military units in the region implemented a heightened security posture, which helped mitigate the extent of casualties. Joint forces are reportedly operating under a precise military plan designed to secure the area, protect civilians, and neutralize threats.

The National Resistance issued condolences for the deceased military personnel and civilians, extending wishes for a swift recovery to the injured.

Military media affirmed the continued commitment of the forces to confronting the Houthi militia, emphasizing that the conflict will persist until national objectives are achieved.
